Kennedy–King College part of City Colleges of Chicago, is a public two-year community college in Chicago, Illinois. Kennedy–King was founded as Woodrow Wilson Junior College in 1935 in honor of U.S. president Woodrow Wilson. The school was renamed to honor Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. in July 1969, a year after they were both assassinated. Kennedy–King is a part of the City Colleges of Chicago, a system of two-year education that has existed in Chicago since 1911. Kennedy-King College is City Colleges of Chicago's hub for culinary and hospitality, but will soon home to a brand new nursing program. 

 

Kenny-King College has a satellite campus named Dawson Technical Institute (DTI).  DTI is an academic job training center for Construction Technology careers established in 1968. Named after U.S. Congressman William L. Dawson, DTI is recognized for providing top quality job training and construction industry career development.
